On Point Extender hair stops does what they're supposed to do, extending your hair, replacing traditional hair stops and effectively increasing the length of it.
This creates more hook to bait separation. Should the need for a larger hook bait arise, extender hair stops accommodate this whilst maintaining the same separation as with a smaller bait.
An added benefit, particularly with the longer extender hair stops is that when pulled into the bait, they act to further secure it. This can be helpful with softer, more soluble hookbaits.
