After an intensive testing period - I know, they all say that, but we actually did test them prior to launch :-) - and minor changes, we can proudly say our new hook is ready to rock 'n roll!
This monster of a Chod hook is perfect for heavier circumstances, like in weed, against snags and all sorts.
It has a thicker wire, a larger eye and a bigger barb, if you're into barbs that is, because we also do a barbless version!
The new Beaked Chod Claw XX has been our daily driver for the last season and been tested intensively by our team the whole of 2024!
This hook now becomes your go-to hook when fishing chods, hinge rigs, cobra rigs, and many more! They are unbelievably sharp straight out of the packet, have a sticky sharp beaked point so when it goes in, it stays there.
In combination with our On Point Chod filament & On Point crimps, you can now tie your own Chod rigs within seconds. You can even take it a step further and use our Boom filament - 0.60mm fits perfectly inside the beefed up eye of this hook!
